2 lb bag of Walmart-brand seasoned fries (or any seasoned fries)
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup water (for seasoning mix)
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
Bake the Fries: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread fries on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble: Spread the cooked fries in a baking dish. Top evenly with seasoned meat, then sprinkle generously with cheese.
Bake Again: Return to oven and bake for 5–7 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
Serve Hot: Add toppings like sour cream, jalapeños, or chopped cilantro if you like, and dig in.
