Homemade Hamburger Helper

Ingredients

2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 lbs ground beef

2 small onions, diced

2 tbsp garlic, minced

4 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp salt

½ tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp paprika

3 cups milk

2 cups beef broth or water

4 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.

Add onions and garlic, cook until soft and fragrant.

Stir in tomato paste, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well.

Pour in milk and beef broth. Bring to a boil.

Add macaroni, reduce heat to a simmer, and cover. Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.

Remove from heat, stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
